HMS Conway Mizzen Mast

The mast was originally erected in 1993 by the Merseyside Development Corporation at Egerton Dock, Birkenhead, Wirral in memory of the HMS Conway training Ship. In 1953 HMS Conway training ship went aground underneath the Menai Suspension Bridge whilst being towed for a re-fit and was declared a total loss.  This vessel was used to train over 11,000 young men for life as officers in the Royal and Merchant Navy.  The replica mast was installed in 2007 and was Hot Dip Galvanized and painted by Roften Galvanizing.

BAE Systems

This complex fabricated RHS structure forms the frame for the reception building of the BAE Offices in Preston.

The structure dubbed the “Mechanical Porcupine” was galvanized and painted in several large fabricated sections by ourselves.
