Air and zinc can become trapped in the corners created by plates welded to the end of RSJ’s. The picture below shows end plates with punched holes lining up with the 4 corners of the web (see picture below). |

Cropped corners on plates welded into webs of channels and beams ensure no air traps occur during pre-treatment or galvanizing. The finish is complete, smooth and all of the fabrication is galvanized correctly. |
